VDWS INTERNATIONAL
GUARANTEE OF PROFESSIONALISM
The VDWS (Verband Deutscher und Wasser Sport Schulen) was born in Germany in 1974 and so far it counts on more than 530 enterprises active in teaching nautical sports.
VDWS is constantly committed in developing and spreading the nautical sports; particular attention is given to the beginners, for whom the teaching methods shall be as amusing and relaxing as possible. As from 1998 VDWS ITALIA allows both Italian wsurf schools and teachers to have an international recognition.The VDWS teachers hold and international licence and have a serious professional training. The school affiliation to the VDWS Int. allows the issue of the international licence, only after passing a theorical-practical exam. Such a licence testifies the basic technique and the safety regulations learning, qualifying the holder with the possibility to rent in every windsurfing schools in the world.

Since 1998 the VDWS ITALIA has been active, which allows Italian schools-wsurf and instructors to have an international recognition. Ocean Tribe Watersport Alghero is recognized by the international federation VDWS as a school qualified for training of watersport assistant and practical training for instructors VDWS. To obtain this qualification our instructors must not only participate in the refresher programs established by VDWS International but the watersport center must maintain special standards of educational quality and specific equipment for beginners. www.vdws.de
